🐴 Orphan Andalusian Foal Finds a New Home
Life at the stables is always full of surprises—some joyful, some bittersweet. This week, we welcomed a very special new arrival: an orphan Andalusian foal, just four months old, full of potential, and with an unmistakable spark in her eyes.

She came to us under sad circumstances. Her mother passed away suddenly due to illness, and in the quiet days that followed, this brave little foal was seen standing beside the digger where her mother had been buried—searching for her, grieving in her own quiet way.

The moment we first saw her—standing quietly beside the digger that had just buried her mother. A tender, unforgettable beginning.

Pedro was asked by a friend to take her in, and after thoughtful consideration, he agreed. She is now settling into her new life here at Andalucía Equestrian, surrounded by gentle care, kind hands, and more human admirers than she knows what to do with.

🐎 Pedro’s Quiet Expertise

Pedro, with his calm presence and well-trained eye, began working with the orphan Andalusian foal from day one. With over 20 years of experience and a deep love for horses, his approach is intuitive, steady, and kind—rooted in trust and connection.

As he said when she arrived:
“Lo vamos a hacer de la mejor manera posible 🥰🙏”
(We’re going to do this in the best way possible.)

💫 How Our Orphan Andalusian Foal Is Adjusting

Though she doesn’t yet have a name, one of our compassionate, horse-loving young riders is helping choose the perfect one. These early days of gentle bonding are so important—and this thoughtful teenager is already forming a beautiful connection with her, offering quiet presence and calming touch as part of her daily routine.

Pedro is gently introducing the foal to the basics—learning that humans are safe, that touch is good, and that she is home. The orphan Andalusian foal is responding well so far, adapting with resilience and curiosity.

She’s also on a special foal-friendly diet (we’ll share the details soon with a link to our trusted feed supplier), and we’re even planning a little shopping trip—Hazel and Grace can’t resist the chance to pick out a few foal-friendly treats, toys, or grooming tools.

Though her story began with loss, it’s already unfolding into something hopeful and healing—for her, for us, and for the whole herd.
